AIT 處長谷立言前天晚上邀請台灣各界領袖齊聚一堂，一同慶祝美台合作關係的強健穩固、歷久彌新。在晚宴上，NASA 太空人林琪兒醫師有機會與立法院長韓國瑜、副院長江啟臣、外交部政務次長陳明祺、新北市長侯友宜、立法委員陳冠廷、TASA國家太空中心主任吳宗信，以及學界與商界領袖會面交流。
這類交流進一步鞏固台灣與美國之間的友誼，並彰顯雙方透過科技創新與科學探索，致力拓展已知疆界的共同決心。
On April 21, AIT Director Raymond F. Greene hosted a reception for Taiwan officials and community leaders to celebrate the enduring strength of our collaboration. During the event, NASA astronaut Dr. Kjell Lindgren had the opportunity to meet Speaker Han Kuo-yu, Deputy Speaker Johnny Chiang, Deputy Foreign Minister Chen Ming-chi, New Taipei Mayor Hou Yu-ih, Legislator Chen Kuan-Ting, Taiwan Space Agency Director General Wu Jong-Shinn, and leaders from the academic and business communities.
These types of engagements reinforce the friendship between Taiwan and the United States, and highlight our shared commitment to expanding the horizons of discovery through technological innovation and scientific exploration.
