美國在台協會處長谷立言於4月17日偕AIT團隊觀摩了行政院「中央聯合演習指揮中心」（CJEOC）的首場民防應變演習。
此次演習旨在演練跨部會的協調能力，以強化台灣在危機期間的緊急應變實力與指揮系統運作。該演習於 4 月 12 日至 21 日配合年度「漢光演習」共同舉行，象徵著台灣在推動「全社會韌性」努力上邁出了重要的一步。
On April 17th, AIT Director Greene and his team observed the first-ever civil defense response exercise of the Executive Yuan’s Central Joint Emergency Operations Center (CJEOC). The CJEOC tested inter-ministerial coordination designed to enhance Taiwan’s emergency response capabilities and command system operation in crisis. This exercise, conducted from April 12th to 21st in conjunction with the annual Han Kuang military drills, represents a significant step forward for Taiwan’s whole-of-society resilience efforts.
